I am currently running an i7 920 overclocked to 3.3 ghz on an EVGA x58 LE board. Using the Zalman CNPS10X Extreme(linked below), my maximum load temperatures are usually about 50c cpu temp, and 62-64c core temperatures as read from the EVGA Eleet tool. Every thread I have read about overclocking this processor says it's core temps should only be about 5c higher than the CPU temperature. Can anybody tell me why my cores run 10-12c hotter than the cpu? I am hesitant to overclock this thing any more because of those core temps.

Thanks a lot in advance.
