Someone has suggested to see if i have a problem with my motherboard because 2 graphics cards have locked up my computer on the same psu
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/page-276586_15_0.ht...
Is the thread.

My problem is that i brought a 2nd hand 8800GT of a friend which when i played a game or even a flash game on firefox my computer would lock up with sound looping.
Then i brought a brand new 4670 which did the same thing as the 8800GT. My computer has also locked up a couple of times while playing games on integrated graphics.

So my question is, Is this a problem with the motherboard or my psu?

(Would be wise to read the other thread i posted for clarity)

I've been using the PSU you cited in your earlier post about a year and I've never had a problem with it, the single 12v rail is why I bought it. I must be getting close to the PSU's total output limit.

Here's my system:
MOBO: DFI LP-DK-X48-T2RSB Plus
CPU: Q9650 (E0)
CPU cooler: ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro
MEM: Corsair TWIN2X2048-8500C5D (1066: 5-5-5-15-2T, 2.1v)
GPU: 2x in crossfire Sapphire 100225TXSR
HDD: 2 WD WD5000ABYS in RAID 1, 1 WD5000AAKS, 1 WD5000YS, and 1 WDC2500JB (IDE)
DVD Burner: LG GH22LS30
Hauppauge PCI TV Tuner
Geovision PCI card: MPEG4 Security System
PSU: Corsair CMPSU-650TX
Case: Antec P160, 3 120mm fans
WinXPsp3 & Win7rc1x86

You read my post wrong.
The PSU i have now is Arctic Power 600W PSU. I was thinking of buying the Corsair 650W.
Or you're sort of 'reviewing' the Corsair in which case it would of been better being posted in the other thread :p  but thanks.
