Need windows firewall for xp

accidently deleted windows firewall and cant find to reinstall thanks.

How did you do that? It is part of the OS, so as far as I know you will need to reinstall Windows.

I did this and its back thanks but now when i try and start windows firewall i get this message:

Windows Firewall settings cannot be displayed because the associated service is not running. Do you want to start the windows firewall/internet connection
sharing (ICS) service?

I click yes to start the service and get this message:

windows cannot start the windows firewall/internet connection sharing (ICS) service.


I then went to admin tools clicked services then click start on windows firewall and I get this message:

Could not start the windows firewall/internet connection sharing (ICS) service on Local Computer.
Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.

It stopped responding so I disabled the service then tried to restart and it was gone wont allow me to connect to internet wired or wireless either. It doesnt have a rom drive so i cant reinstall the OS.
