Yes, originally that board topped out at 1333 or 667x2. To get to 1600 you had to overclock the FSB. Oddly when I searched it to be sure I got back to Gigabyte web site and it said 1800 natively. I'm not sure whats going on till I have my coffee but going by the original board standards 1333 by fixed bios and 1600 by overclock.

You don't need to overclock your CPU to get your RAM running at its rated specs. You just have to manually set the RAM speed/timings/voltage to the recommended specs in the BIOS. Is this your RAM?

If it is, you need to set the voltage to 1.6v in addition to setting the frequency to 1600MHz and the timings to 8-8-8-24. The RAM will not be stable without setting the voltage correctly.

right running the cpu standard 15-5 and increase the front side bus to 215 on the amd overdrive its still showing 667 should that change to 800 i set i think the timing marks to 8-8-8-24

Wooaa! hold on since the bios offers the 800 clock setting you should use that and if you notice shortstuff checked and identified you need 1.6v.
The voltage is quite critical.
You should check what he said is the ram you have what he located.
As of right now it would appear you don't have voltage set correctly, 15-5 is not 16.
It would also appear there is no need for you to mess with the FSB if the goal was just to set ram at 1600. Hope you follow through with that first, these settings are in bios and should be set prior to utilizing AOD.
Another note the benefit of increasing the clock speed of your ram at those speeds is almost negligible. The processor is timed for 1333 as its threshold, the benefit at 1600 is about 2-3% and there is clearly no benefit going further.
