I let a friend use my Dell Inspiron 1545 and now I am Password locked-out. How do get back in.

Are you talking about your user account or bios and did your friend put as password on your laptop.

if still warranty just bring to technichian Dell or shop where you bought it. your Laptop need clear Cmos after that fresh, no paswword in bios

The password is set on the POWER-UP: ADMINISTRATOR

Im with moto....hang a shoe outa his ass....pop the back cover you will see a battery pop it out for like 5 min. then put it back in....viola...BTW...Ask ur "friend " what he set the password to..Then ask him why he put a password on your computer...Then refer to the first thing I said
