XFX 8200

Hi Gang,
Can I use a AMD 6000+ with XFX 8200 board, I have upgraded the bios to ver 1.8, I read some where that the board would function with a higher wattage if the bios was updated. Does anyone know if this is true.

If by higher wattage you're referring to power supplies, the only bad thing is an under wattaged power supply. Example if you had a thousand watt PSU, and your system only drew 600 watts, then that would be good. If you had a system that drew 1000 watts and you only had a 600 watt PSU, then you would have a big problem.
