How to turn off echo on my speaker

Hello,
how to turn off echo on my speaker .. help

double click the speaker icon in the lower right hand desktop, this should bring up a mixer. Or open the audio software that is loaded in your computer. Look for "effects" settings, or "enhancement" settings. These settings include "hall, auditorium, arena, etc..." they all add echo to the audio playback, and are supposed to be cool. Well, just shut all that stuff off.
