What to do when ndisk cruzer 16gb not recongnized by windows xp

My SanDisk Cruzer 16GB (USB) suddenly not being recongnized by my window xp. When I inserted it into my computer. USB light was not on, and my computer didn't show this drive icon. I have some important files in it. Could anyone know how to recover it? Thanks

Right click My computer > Manage > Disk Management.
