Did i get a bad i7 920?!?!

When i have vista or Win 7 with 32 bit i boot in like 5 seconds
but when i run vista or win 7 64 bit it takes me like 3 mins to boot. could it be my CPU??
when running the windows rating test the CPU part makes my computer REALLY LAGGGGGGYYYYY and the mouse moves around really slow you guys got any idea??!?!

i have test every part and its only when i run a 64 Bit OS

Sounds like a wonky driver. Go to your motherboard manufacture and make sure you have the latest 64bit drivers for Win7 (64bit Vista drivers will work with win7 as well )

I'd be pretty surprised if Vista x86 boots in 5 seconds. As for the windows rating, the CPU test should make it pretty laggy. I doubt that the problem is with your CPU honestly.

i checked the driver they seem fine. could there be a problem with the CPU with 64bit ?!?!?! is it possible?

If your only symptom is a slow boot, and the system is stable and responsive afterwards, it almost definitely can't be the CPU.

yeah after about 6 mins of my OS just loading up its fine and runs quick. maybe i missed a driver. is there a few specific drivers that i should be looking @?!?!?!
