I don't know where to post this; if there is a better thread please point me.

This computer is my baby. A Dell Optiplex GX1 minitower. Through upgrades and judicious program selection, she is still quite useful and competant. I am in a tinkering mode. I see that she has an "ATI Multimedia Channel". A modified 40-pin socket. I have a discrete GPU installed anyway. But it seems a shame to waste an 83mhz socket on this motherboard. It was envisioned as a dedicted video channel, that would bypass the pci bus. Does anybody have any idea about how I might otherwise put this to use, or if I can? It seems like I might be able to plug just about anything in there that will fit properly, and it would work.

You can post this on the Graphics & Displays section of this forum. How did you find out about this special channel btw? :)
