SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Graphic related work (Photoshop, 3D modelling etc.), gaming, office work and Internet browsing.

Everything else is negligible I think.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I chose the quad because I will be multi-tasking, alot, I will be using 3DS MAX so the quad should be great there. I'd prefer rdering today because the total savings on Newegg is like, $190 bucks and I don't want to wait any longer. The two "demanding" games I'll play most is Flight Simulator X and America's Army.

swap the motherboard for one with a P45 chipset and the CPU to a Q9550.

then you should up the ram to 8GB and lower the graphics card to a 9600GT if you don't need CUDA.
