My ram tested for memory errors and found 23 problems what to do

Hello, i am having problems with my ram (1gb 667 ddr2) which was given 23 errors when i tested using memtest86+ v4.2 .when i replaccd my ram with another one there is no stop screen errors which have been common when i use the faulty ram. my doubt is, is there any way to cure my faulty ram or is it useless?

I had intermittent problems with RAM on my previous system - it's one of the reasons I went to using ECC memory in my current system.

On my previous system I solved the issue by relaxing the memory timings. Even though the original timings were what was specified by the memory I had, they caused occasional errors - but that problem went away after I tweaked them.
