I has just bought a Samsung 2233rz monitor. It is able to show 120hz, but only with a dvi dual link cable.
The problem is my graphiccard only supports vga and hdmi. I have a dvi dual link to hdmi cable, but i cant get 120hz with it. I think it's because the dvi dl has 24pins and the hdmi only has 19, so the cable will only work in single link mode.

What can i do to get the 120hz on my computer? Do i need a special cable or adapter?

your graphic card need to support dual dvi interface ( 2x 60HZ =120Hz )
