I'm building my first computer and have put together a preliminary list of pc components. I'm looking for tips and any substitutions you think should be made. Here is the list:

My plan is too run windows 7 when it comes out and I have yet to narrow down a power supply; I would appreciate any recommendations. I will also be using my old disk drives from my older computer. Thanks, for the help.

going core2duo seems like an odd choice, especially given the high-end graphics card you are looking at.

i would heavily suggest going Phenom ii. im pretty sure a 550 BE and a cheap AM2+ mobo would be a similar price (it is here in NZ at least) and you should get bags more performance and way better upgrade potential.
