Replacement for nvidia geforce 7600 gt

I have a Sony Vaio vgc-rc310 and I need to replace the graphics card.. Is this one a good choice?PNY - NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT 1GB DDR2 PCI Express Graphics Card
its a PCI Express x16 card
Is it something I can just install without other modifications such as to the PSU? If not, what card would be a good replacement

That 9400GT might actually be slower than your old 7600GT. I guess it will be o.k if you're not going to play any games on it.

I upgrade to the nVidia 9500 GT but would like to upgrade again--would the nVidia GeForce 9600 GT be compatible, without having to upgrade the PSU, etc?

I've seen a low-profile and low-power 9600 from Galaxy. But I don't know how good their cards are.
