Can't image SSD

I have Windows 7 {64 bit}, I purchased an Intel X25M SSD. With this SSD as my OS drive I'm unable to image it with Acronis True Image 11 Home and Windows backup tool. With the Windows 7 backup tool I can back up files but the back up fails if I try to let the tool image the OS drive.

Upon installing W7 I disabled defrag, indexing, caching, page filing & hibernation.

Any thoughts?

What error message or action occurs when the backup fails?

I use the "Create a System Image" option of the built-in Windows 7 backup program all the time with my SSD and it works just fine.

Well I made several attempts yesterday to use W7 backup tool but it kept on failing. After trying different options when I finally unchecked the "Create a System Image" the backup was successful.
