Power question

Since my lynksys wrt400 doesn't have a power switch does that mean I should not power it down when not in use?

Turning it off should not hurt the Router at all.
Plug it into a power strip so you can turn it on and shut it off easily.

Or better yet, if you have a Good batter Back Up (UPS System) for your computer, plug the power strip into the battery backup so you don't have to worry about your connection getting interrupted by short power outages where the lights flicker and the clocks end up blinking.

I keep both my DSL Modem, my WNDR3700 Router and my NeatDesk Scanner plugged into a power strip which I keep plugged in my UPS and I turn the power strip off every night unless I have some downloading going on for the night.
