Is it normal for windows to prompt with a 'found new problem solution' type bubble upon a fresh install of vista? (Intel Chipset drivers).

I clicked on the solution, prompted me to DL the intel chipset device software. I ran it, and it prompted me several times to approve unsigned drivers that windows couldn't verify. I assume this was ok to install...maybe because I didn't install anything off the mobo disc yet?

After the install finished, I lost my connection to my network via a usb wireless adapter...possibly related?

I've never built a vista system but I've done almost every other version of windows and have never installed a chipset driver nor found the need to at any point.

honestly I don't even know what they do
