How to defragment my drive d as it is showing ckdsk??

cant fix this problem...every time i start my laptop its startrs checking drive d...and when i try to defragment drive d it says chkdsk is sheduled in this drive

What device is drive D on your system - And do you let chkdsk run to completion ? Either a dirty bit has been set on the drive to force chkdsk to run, or chkdsk may have been added to your startup programs.

You won't be able to defragment it until the chkdsk has completed.

Reboot your machine and let the chkdsk run to completion !

Windows won't start until chkdsk has finished. You'll get a black screen with some numbers on it. Don't interrupt this, just leave it until Windows starts.
