Dell inspiron 1521 XP screen not working

Hello, i have a dell inspiron 1521 running XP. After i installed some basci drivers (such as ATI, sound, integrated webcam etc) i restarted my laptop. The regular windows logo appears and also the windows sound plays, but after that the screen goes completly black, it look likes the laptop is running normal, but the screen stays black.
Any suggestion what to do?
i run in safe mode and it works fine.
What should i do to fix it?

In safe mode, select Last known good configuration. You might also try sfc /scannow from command prompt.
