Can anyone refer me to a nice guide that explains the in's and out's of installing a TV tuner onto a desktop. I'd like to be able to connect my rig to the DirecTV connection and watch & record programs on my computer. I have absolutely no experience here, so I'm hoping to find some resources on options and a step-by-step if possible.

Gigabyte EP45 UD3-P mobo
WD Caviar Black 1TB
Corsair TX 650
Mushkin 4GB PC2 6400 RAM
Sapphire HD 4870 1GB
Acer P244 24" LCD Monitor (has HDMI jack)

Unfortunately it doesnt work so well with satellite because the companies are protective of their signal.

www.thegreenbutton.com has tons of info
