just a quick question that got me, why the new motherboards don't have a graphics chip on board?

P45, P35 and X38 are older MB chipsets by now. Micro ATX MB are equipped with onboard video chips, G45, G35, etc. Full ATX MB rarely have onboard graphics although in recent years some do and offer onboard ATI crossfire support. Older ATX MB's did not offer onboard graphics as suggested. It's always been this way.

i know, but i just wanted to know the reason of taking them off on some motherboards thats all.
