Intel has been making graphics forever, the only difference is its going to be on the cpu. Expect it to pretty much suck.

Instead of going for ridiculous 6-cores they should go for better i7 32nm quadcores with higher stock speeds/cooler temps and more cache, then they can use the room for the two additional cores for a 32nm GPU which would kick ass (maybe it won't match a 5870 or 380, but it'll be a whole lot better than every IGP ever made.)

------------------------------ CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @3.2Ghz, MOBO: Asus P6T SE, RAM: 3x 2gb OCZ Platinum OCZ3P1600LV6GK, GPU: Sapphire HD 5870, PSU: Corsair HX520W, HDD: Seagate ST31000528AS 1Tb 32mb, COOLER: Scythe Mugen (S775 version), CASE: Coolermaster CM690

Yeah dont we all wish intel would do that. :)

They are, but only low-end models at first, Larrabee will be their high end model and will be build on a separate card.

Mostly everyone probably calls it laughabee due to its recent "demo," but not Nvidia.

In a nutshell, this is just baseline information about what nVidia is going to introduce in the next couple of weeks. Without any doubt, we can see that nVidia reacted to Larrabee by introducing a part that is extremely efficient, natively support key industry standards and more importantly, doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

If larrabee's going to suck, then why is Nvidia showing some concern? Seems that they know something or they're just overreacting. I show my indifference and so I shall stay neutral about this.

Its Intel; even if it stinks, Intel can just make it better and try again. NVIDIA is vunerable as they lack a CPU base to fall back on like its competitors.

NVIDIA is simply making sure to have its bases covered; Intel plays on NVIDIA's turf, and NVIDIA plays on Intels turf.
