I'm looking to buy a used laptop in the PIII 800 Mhz range and don't
want to spend more than $800. I see that Best Buy has a new eMachine
for about $700 after rebates. It has a Celeron 2.8 Mhz CPU. Now I
know that the Celeron 2.8 isn't very fast, maybe even considered to be
a real dog, but if I were just to look at the two cpus, the PIII 800
vs. the Celeron 2.8, would the 2.8 be okay? I'm not into playing
really intensive cpu hog games on this computer. Any good places to
look for used laptops?
