Hp pavillion dv9000 audio drivers download

I have a HPPavillion dv9000 with Windows 7, when I upgraded from XP to Win7 the audio worked fine. Then a service pack destroyed my drivers adn I have had no luck or sound since. Can anyone point me int eh direction of Conexant drivers for my laptop? Thank you

they only list vista drivers, not Windows 7, but they will work fine. just select the 32/64 bit version depending on your OS.

Agreed.
Microsoft likely "updated" with incorrect drivers. Look for those in Add/Remove Programs and remove them before re-installing the correct ones from your website.

I downloaded the drivers. uninstalled the previous drivers. Installed the downloded 64 bit drivers and no luck, it doesn't work. I can hear through my headphones, but not from the Altec Lansing speakers in my laptop.

The speakers have not worked since upgrading to Wiindows 7.
