Hey! So I was moving my computer into a new case I bought(lian li p50r), and I tripped and landed right on my q6600 motherboard! :( I was heart-broken at first, but then I though this is a perfect time for a new build! :D Unfortunately, I don't know much about computers and need some help.

Here are the parts I have chosen to buy:
SAMSUNG F1 RAID Class HE103UJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive
OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory Model OCZ3G1600LV6GK
EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI (x16/x16/x8) LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard (Is this MB any good?)
Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor Model BX80601920 (I would wait for an i5, but I need a computer now! :pt1cable: )
COOLER MASTER V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler (I don't know anything about cooler, but i only want to oc to 3.4)

I already have a HIS 4890(Should I crossfire?), a 750 corsair watt psu, and an unopened blu-ray drive(Can I use my old dvd drive also or do I have to throw that away  ?)

BTW I play at 1080p

Thanks for all the help! :D

I forgot to say my budget is $1000 and is a ssd worth it? Also did I miss anything and what do you recommend I buy?
So many questions!!

You'll probably only see a slight increase in speed, personally I don't need a SSD drive. A normal HDD is good enough for me. Your old DVD drive is probably SATA so it will most likely work.

As for the cooler, I would prefer going with a Scythe Mugen II or a Xigmatek S1283.

What's the computer case?
