Disk read error xp

Hello,
A disk read error has come up on a friends laptop its telling her to press ctrl+alt+del can anyone tell me if the del button is delete or is there another button thank-you

"Delete" key is Del and is the right key for Alt-Ctrl-Del

Press the Alt key first and hold while pressing the Ctrl key and hold finally pressing the Del (or delete) key, release all 3 at the same time.
