Jun 26, 2009, 1:14 AM
Okay, so my computer no longer supplies power to my dvd drive. I tried installing other older dvd drives and none of them have power either. Anybody know what's going on?

Check all the cables, one of them could be faulty.
If not it could be a problem on the motherboard

Swap the DVD drive into a different computer with a different power supply and see if it will work in there, if so then its your PSU.
