I have a problem with CD drive in my GPS/RADIO/CD/PHONE car unit Connect Nav+ in Fiat Stilo. This unit has IDE CD drive and Microsoft software. It reads maps, music and software from cd. There is no USP port. I would like to put USB port instead of this cd and connect it to ide cable and supply, because I can't change eprom software. Instead of maps or music or cd, I can put usb stick.
Is it possible to use standard IDE/USB converter, does it work in booth directions?
Is there any other solution?
Thanks in advance,

Those are 2-way devices, but they are not meant to convert an IDE port to USB, rather USB to IDE connector. I don't see any IDE to USB converters.
