Crossfiring radeon hd4870x2

i was wondering if a 750watt power supply will support 2 hd 4870x2's in crossfire. i have an extra card thanks 2 a shipping error and was wondering if i can run it on my current setup.
intel corei7 2.6ghz
12gb of ram
750 watt power supply

That's a sweet deal you got!!

It may be enough. With the information you provided, that's about 620w you'd be pulling. But if you have a more hard drives, fans, sound card, physics card, it may not be enough.

I am running a similar setup with just one 4870x2, and am pulling 592w max load (overclocked, 5 drives, etc...). I would need to know more information, mostly the brand of the PSU.

It's safe to assume you'd be running on the edge. Yes, it's possible that your PSU holds out. But if you want to use that for a longer period of time and be sure that you don't run into any problems, get a proper 1000w PSU, e.g. a coolermaster realpower (medium price, proper quality).
 
Wait. If by "shipping error", you mean that you ordered one card and got two, I would contact the place you bought it from. It's an expensive card, and IMHO, it's better to be honest in a case like that.

Oh, and most 750W PSUs would be right on the edge when powering a pair of 4870x2s. You want a high quality 850, minimum.
