Flash drive

I am trying to save some work on a flash drive (E:). when I go to save as, the e: is not listed. What do I do?

    It should appear automatically if it's already showing in My Computer as a valid drive. You could save it to C: then copy it over or you could read the article here http://www.windowsitpro.com/article/configuration/how-can-i-edit-the-default-places-bar-quick-links-in-windows-xp-s-and-windows-2000-s-open-and-save-common-dialog-boxes- to add to the SaveAs menu, so long as you only want it to work in MSOffice applications.

    Before you make any changes to your Registry, choose Export from the File menu then note the name and location of the file you create - it will be a crucial Registry backup in case anything goes wrong in there.
