Computer d drive not working

Hello, When I insert an Audio CD into the D Drive, a green cross appears over the D Drive icon in the My Computer screen. How can I stop/remove the green cross

Hello, When I insert an Audio CD into the D Drive, a green cross appears over the D Drive icon in the My Computer screen. How can I stop/remove the green cross

A green cross (T shaped) over the drive, not a red X ?
Check in device manager for error code and use disk management
(with media inserted) to see drive specifics. - drive letter etc.
