I think my ethernet plug isnt working

Ive got an Asus P6T Deluxe V2, and the ethernet plug, im not sure its name...but its the plug you stick your ethernet cable in, is'nt working. I have two ethernet plugs, and one of them doesent work. For example, if you plug in your ethernet cable, and an orange light lights up. Well, one of them isnt working (i think), im not really sure if it ever has because ive never used it, but i just noticed it when i plugged it in today and my computer dident connect to the internet. The one that isnt working is the upper one, the one closer to the CPU. Is this a driver problem or a manufacturers default?

Are both Ethernet ports enabled in the BIOS?

i dont think so, what option would it be under tha BIOS? thanks ;]

If it's like other Asus motherboards, it should be under Advanced, Onboard Devices Configuration.

are you just trying to use the second port instead of the 1st one or are you setting up another connection?
