I would have preferred the HAF 922 since I will be putting this rig in a college dorm this fall and am unsure about size limitations.. but the 932/corsair psu combo is hard to beat.. if anyone can show me a decent option with a HAF922 and a decent PSU that'd be appreciated as well.

Not looking to spend a big deal on the gpu at the moment, will possibly upgrade or CF later down the road.

I had a quick question about the mobo actually.. for around 10 bucks more to the Total after $80 of MIR I can get

You'll have trouble fitting the Xigmatek on that EVGA board I think. That's the only real problem with the board as far as I know. It's probably a better board for water cooling folks.

Alright, seems like I will stick with the u4dp/patriot combo then..

Few more quick questions.

Do you think I will need any additional fans for the CM Storm Scout? And should I have enough clearance for my parts?

+ Is there any other way I could make my build more cost effective? Trying to get the best bang for the buck, while keeping budget relatively fair.

No it comes with the all the fans you need.

You might have some slight cramping around the power connectors to the video cards, but it should be OK.
