basically, I want to fit a graphics card into my case that is longer than i have enough room for. The hard drive cage is held in place by little metal pins or something, and it seems to be non-removable. is there any way i can remove it anyway?
Fairly simply - use a drill bit slightly smaller than the head of the rivet - making sure you keep the bit centered on the head. Rivets in pc cases are made of soft metal so shouldnt take too much effort.
Only possible downside is that if you remvoe the drive cage you might compromise the cases rigidity.
