Inspiron 1521 getting random bluescreens

I rely on this 4-year-old laptop for connecting my desktop to the Internet with ICS.

It gets random, unprovoked errors shortly after booting up. Here is the info dump:

Try uninstalling Mcaffee or your AV and reboot.

This is not a hardware related BSOD.

Try running MemTest first. Random unprovoked bluescreens smells like bad ram, or ram that needs to be reseated.

Thanks both for your responses. Wanamingo's suggestion has so far delivered a 6 hour uptime which is still running, but at the miniscule cost of virus protection.

I will also run a memory test to verify the hardware once I get a chance. It's a very beat up machine physically, so it's certainly plausible.
