Mobo bios?

is it worth? i want to know what are the advantages of update mobo bios?

sometime needed ... , it's depend on motherboard used.
this can get more stabillity system when OC, enables simple overclocking, erase overclock bios saved.

ok...plz tell me one more thing ...what should i do to oc my c2d e7500 from 3.52 to 3.8 ghz?
oc profile allows me to oc only at 3.5 ghz @ 20%? manually oc crashzz all the time? what should i do with voltage settings?

I do not know exactly how the Asus Core2 boards handle DDR3 RAM.

With DDR3 RAM, the RAM clock needs to be 4 times the FSB freq (or equal to the FSB clock) for an FSB:RAM ratio of 1:1.

Take your memory settings of Auto and try to adjust them so that yur FSB:RAM ratio is 1:1 when checked by CPU-Z.

You will need to increase the CPU voltage up to 1.45 volts.

Then try pushing the FSB freq higher. Around 360 MHz seems to be the limit of the G41 chipset.

what should i do with voltage settings to over clock this system at 3.8 ghz???
these are the settings at jumper confi.
