Windows Update Question on SSD/HDD

Hi,

Since I only have a 64GB SSD use as a boot device, I have a question. When I install Windows 7, should I also let the Windows Update run on the SSD or will that populate my limited SSD fast? Should I keep the windows update files on my HDD? any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to hook up my SSD as boot drive and a HDD as storage.

The updates have to be installed on your boot drive. Windows 7 SP1 with updates take up around 22~24GB.
