Hi there! Would someone be able to help me out with this question?

I am considering buying a ASUS M4A79XTD EVO motherboard. But I also would like to be able to use two HD5770 in crossfireX in it.

In the ASUS page, the specifications for this motherboard says:

" 2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 , support ATI CrossFireX™ technology (at one x16 or dual x8 link) "

And at the Sapphire HD5770 vapor X page says:

" PCI Express® based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard "

Would that be possible to do? Does this motherboard support this? Will I be able to run two cards at the speed of 16 together??

I am pretty newba to this subject, as you can see. Any help is welcomed.

Kind Regards!

what will happen is if you put 1 5770 in, it will run at 16x, and if you put 2 in, they will run at 8x. there wont be a massive difference in speed though.
