Which intel 775 socket motherboard works with intel ssd

Hello, I think I pulled the trigger to quick and bought a 120 gb intel ssd without doing my homework first.I have a asus p5n-d mb with nvida chipset. From what I'm reading it could be trouble with this board. If their is, is their a 775 socket intel board that will work with this ssd?? Have not tryed to install ssd yet.Any help would be great.

  1. You shouldn't have any trouble. I've installed SSDs on older boards, and they seem to work fine. That' P5N-D was suppose to be future proof when it came out. It's still a really good board. You can't find 750i chipset boards anymore today.
  2. Thanks Masterasia. I'll let you know when the intel ssd arrives in the mail and I try to install it as my only drive with a fresh install of W7 64 bit o/s. Wish me luck and thanks again
