Hi,
Not sure if this is a stupid question but if i put a Intel X25-V Value SSD will it still meet its top read write speed on sata 1?
Thanks

Solution
For sequential read (and perhaps writes but I don't think so) you will probably be bottlenecked by SATA 1, you would probably loose 20-30MB/s, but if you are ok with that, it's not the end of the world. For random read/write, you would still get full benefit as it gets nowhere near the 135-150MB/s theoretical maximum.
