Hard drive reformat

Hi, i am trying to reformat my old hard drive but when i type in my prompt command for it, it says : the type of file system is NTFS Enter current volume lable for drive c:
what should i do??

    Why not just format from the Disk Management Screen, as talked about in this thread?? It is the easiest way to format an old hard drive.. IMO
