Well I'm running a 9800GT Ecointelligence, which uses 30% less power than the regular ones, on a 300 watts PSU. It doesn't come with the pin connector.

So far everything is running perfectly, games are very stable are high settings are there are no crash so far.I ran the PSU calculator and it said my PC uses 275 W of power ( i did the test with the regular 9800GT ). So i was wondering , is it really necessary to upgrade my PSU ?

Most power supply calculators give a wattage reccomendation, not actual power consumption.
It may not be neccessary to upgrade the psu now, but might be a good idea for future upgrade's.
Remember the closer you run to the unit's max capacity, the shorter it's lifespan will be.
