I just got a question.
Will i5 and 955BE bottleneck on HD 5870 VC?
Please let me know.
And if not, which CPU would you recommend for Gaming.

No, and in some games is better AMD, in others Intel...so, many times the performance depends from the game and the affinity with the procesor and GPU, that the brand of the CPU.

Both should be fine.
Just get the best processor you can afford.

How much the CPU holds it back depends on the game, and we can't all afford i7 extremes. If you have some technical skills, and want to learn about overclocking, you can always throw in a good aftermarket CPU cooler, and earn yourself a bonus 20-40% speed.

A 5870 certainly wouldn't be wasted on either chip.
