This is my first build and I have been doing tons of research around the web. I think I have finally got a system that is rock solid.

I am strictly on a 950 dollar budget and cannot go over.

*thumbs up* looks good only problem I see is the timings on he RAM are kinda high.

go with these. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231166

either that or mind as well go with these which will still feel like the same speed because of lower timings. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231209

and if you want cheaper but same performance and changing a brand wont kill you. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820227267

I would change the power supply to any of these three.

Out of the 3 Ragsters pointed out I would go with the Corsair. It can go above 750Watts up to 900 something. but the 750 Watts is the constant rating not the maximum.

Thats only if you choose to change the power supply.

and I'm glad that you went with the reapers. ^-^

I have some old Corsair myself but they are Micron D9's and they were purchased off a friend who didnt want them an more.

if he had not sold them to me I would have gotten the Reapers I suggested so let me know how that RAM is. =)

If your going to go wity the AMD chip, why not save some cash and pick up a 4870 or you could buy 2 of them now and crossfire them for almost the same price as the nvidia card!

Take a look at the chipset before your say anything , its the (questionable) 980a chipset.

You could save some money on the case if you go with an Antec 300
