Getting error message

when i turn the computer on it is kind of fuzzy and then goes to a screen that says system error, insert boot disc. when i first turned it on the fan was really loud and not turning off and nothing was showing but now i have this message and the fan is turning off.

if your PC is asking for a boot disc then either the HDD you are trying to boot from is damaged or the windows installtion is corrupt.

Check the cables for your hard disk, try disconnecting the ribbon cable, and the power cable, then connect them again.

If that doesn't work check your BIOS for the booting order, and make sure that the hard drive that has windows in it is setup to boot first.
