Hi guys, hope you can help me with this issue that's been driving this noob nuts.

I'm building my own computer and an having trouble figuring out if the PSU I want to buy is compatible with the motherboard I want to buy.

PSU: http://www.corsair.com/products/tx/default.aspx ("Supports ATX12V v2.2 standard and older ATX12V 2.01 spec")

Mobo: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguag... ("We recommend that you use a ATX12V Specification 2.0-compliant PSU with a min 300W rating")

The power 650W that this power supply gives is enough, this is not my issue.

My issue is: will this power supply be compatible with the mobo in terms of the ATX12V 2.x versions? I can find absolutely no clear guidelines on compatibility between 2.0, 2.01, 2.1, and 2.2 anywhere when talking about PSUs and mobos, extremely frustrating!!!!

HELP PLEASE! 2.0

The minimum is 2.0, therefore anything better is compatible.
