The 250 GTS can run crysis with veryhigh settings only in resolution up to 1280x720 after that is just not playable. In fact even the GTX275 cannot run crysis with veryhigh settings and 1680x1050.

Crysis is just one unoptimized game that is make to sell hardware. Developers coudnt run it on highest settings. gtx 295 cant even run with full AA on high res. 2 years old game and we cant run it with all eye candy with today high end hardware. just see gta IV when it was released, 2 patches and the game run fluently. All other games you will running very well on highest settings.

If you're a fan of Crysis and plan to game on anything larger than a 19" monitor, then forget about the GTS 250. Look at the GTX 260 instead.

i have evga 512mb 250 gts. with e4400 oced from 2.0 to 3.23

im using hp 22 inch LCD.
i can push all games to very high setting at this resolution 1680 - 1050( i believe)
except crysis, gta4 (may be more games that i didnt played)

in crysis, i setted very high, with 1680-1050 no AA. and im getting 25-30

if ur cpu is better than mine, you should be fine with 22"

I am looking to buy a GTS 250 with an HP e9180t.. i am hoping to run empire: total war at highest settings. i have a 20 in samsung lcd

the gts 250 is 1gb w/ the i7 core processor. the PSU is 460...while the gts requires a min of 450..that is my next major concern.

Can a GTS 250 1 gb run on a 460 psu computer??!!
