Evening all.

I'm looking to build a New System, it has been roughly 5 years since the last time I did any serious system building, so looking help.

I've already decided on a Phenom II x4 955 BE Processor

I'm wondering which motherboard would be best (I've used Asus and gigabyte in the past).
Looking to keep the price around $ 150 ballpark.

Memory wise not sure which would be better DDR2 or DDR3 and which are the recommend ones for gaming.

Graphic cards not sure, guess this will depend on which performs better with the motherboard and processor, but I've always went with Nvidia but may change.

My main game of choice is DDO: Eberron Unlimited.

I usually have this running along with Excel and msvc and firefox on a regular basis.

Any other info you need, hit me up and I'll do my best to answer and thanks ahead of time for the replies and help.

I would go with the gigabyte GA-MA790GPT-UD3H for $108 after rebate shipped. It's a full size atx board with onboard video and hdmi port. One reviewer said it would unlock cores, but that's not guaranteed. With your 955, no unlocking is necessary. I like having onboard video in case your video card dies. For memory, the corsair xms3 1600 ddr3 2x2 gb for around $95 is a good choice
