I need to setup 2ea LCD monitors with DVI interfaces, in two locations from one PC. I want the same screen on each monitor.

Most information is written about expanding your worktop on two monitors. But I wish to have the same screen showning on both monitors. For teaching...

My question is I am seeing a lot of 2ea DVI output cards on the market. Will one of these cards work for me?

Yep. Pretty much any card with dual DVI outputs will work for you. When two monitors are hooked up to the same graphics card, you should see some options on how things are displayed in the control panel.

What you're reading about is called "Extended Mode". It causes a computer desktop to be stretched across both screens. What you're looking for is "Clone Mode". This causes the desktop to be mirrored across both screens. What happens on one, happens on the other. I would point out that there may be issues if both screens are not set at the same resolution.
